Compression Therapy after a workout: Tired legs, fatigue after training, leg swelling, feeling of heaviness… Although I already have some experience with Compression Therapy, the convenience of enjoying its benefits from home is priceless!
No need to travel to any center, no need to adapt to the center’s schedule or available hours, and you can make the most of your time. The comfort of being able to read, watch TV, or relax in your own environment while the session lasts and in the comfort of your home sofa… is one of the many advantages of having the Sizen 6+.
The Sizen 6+ is everything you want for your recovery
In terms of the therapy itself, and the professional Compression Therapy machine Sizen 6+ in particular.
A 45-minute session to check the sensations. The machine is quiet and easy to use. The Compression Therapy boots are very easy to put on; in no time I had them on and was ready for my first treatment after a workout.
There are different programs to choose from depending on the intended purpose, pressure control, and the possibility to “turn off” certain pressure zones if necessary, as well as a timer that marks the session time.

In my case, being someone “used to” receiving recovery massages from a trusted masseur, I connect the machine with high pressure and wait for the boots to take effect. Through the compression and decompression of the boots, the leg muscles relax almost instantly.
Program 3 is ideal for athletes
Program number 3 in my case, with sequential compression, a first cycle of total compression along the legs followed by compression by zones.
First the lower part, leaving the rest without pressure to progressively move up the legs “like a massage.” The massage goes from the ankles to the upper part of the legs to “cleanse” the legs of fluids, toxins, and fats accumulated after exertion.
Compression Therapy after training is the difference between good recovery and NO recovery
The session for me was pleasant at all times despite the pressure; the feeling of pressure on the legs is comfortable and you quickly get used to it.
At the end of the session, the results of Compression Therapy are already noticeable: more relaxed legs, a feeling of relief from the “pain” typical of intense training. The sensation of having “swollen” legs after exertion also disappears. Although the first steps feel “strange” after the pressure from the boots, the sensation quickly becomes pleasant and relieving.
