15-day trial

Looking back, I still can’t fully grasp everything that is happening around the world. We’ve been home for 3 weeks now, and although there’s still time left, personally it’s been very helpful for me to learn and appreciate what we have, which we often overlook. It’s very important to have a set of routines for confinement.

Wake up with a smile!

My main goal each day is to wake up and go to bed with a smile. To be happy and enjoy, to face this moment as an opportunity life has given us to notice all those little details, rather than seeing it as a limiting situation since we can make the most of every action or new learning. Use your routines for confinement to enjoy the calm we usually don’t have.

As a future psychologist, what I recommend most is having a daily routine that varies and following it, but always knowing more or less what you’re going to do.

What routine to follow? Here’s a suggestion!

8:30 AM Alarm and breakfast calmly, taking my time which I don’t have during the year, and for me it’s a pleasure to start the day this way.

9:30 AM I start studying. I have very few subjects left, the final project of my degree, and usually online classes. So it’s very helpful to have my mornings occupied with studies. I’ve also been able to complete a course on Psychological First Aid during these weeks to better understand psychology in possible moments of anxiety that many people might experience.

3:00 PM Time to eat and rest

importance of routines during confinement.

5:00 PM Online training with the little ones I coach daily at my club. They are very young girls, and keeping a daily exercise routine where they can see each other is a great opportunity to unite the whole group. And they make me very happy!

Do physical exercise

6:00 PM Home workout. Luckily, many exercises can be done with your own body weight, water bottles, resistance bands… Also roller training with the bike I use for triathlon.

8:00 PM Applaud and thank all those people who are exposing themselves to this virus and everything they are doing for the country. I have many friends on the front lines, and every day I applaud for all of them and everyone else.

8:15 PM Several days a week I do yoga and stretching sessions to disconnect after the whole day. It’s an exercise I had always wanted to try, and I’m taking advantage of this time to do it and learn now. On other days, and when I have had a tough workout earlier, I take the opportunity to recover (and use sports pressotherapy) with my pressotherapy machine (how pressotherapy works) from Sizen while I listen to relaxing music. It’s definitely my moment!

9:00 PM Dinner, put on my series or book, and rest for a new day.

Stick to your routines for confinement!

Finally, the summary of my day is that I manage to meet the goals I set. Honestly, the days fly by because I don’t stop doing things (sometimes I think I still need more hours… who doesn’t?). I love feeling this accomplished. So I suggest you share your daily routine so we can all help each other!
These routines for confinement will surely be very helpful for you!
